Mitchel Luck meets all of the criteria for the High School Hobey Baker Award. Coming off an injury, the line that he had been playing on was playing well together, so instead of breaking up that line, I asked Mitchel to shadow our league rival’s best player. He graciously accepted the challenge and prevented the league leading scorer from scoring and even contributed an assist in our win, which gave us a share of the league title. That is one of many stories of this player and the type of competitor and teammate he is.
