Chris has been a positive influence on his team his entire career. In this, his senior year, Chris has kept his team’s attitude and morale up on a team that has not had much success. His charisma on the ice is one of a true high school student athlete. He models good sportsmanship by rarely being penalized, while maintaining an exceptional level of play, playing nearly 35 minutes a game.

Off the ice (primarily in school), Chris has helped a freshman who suffered from an HIB incident earlier in the year. This incident could have been ignored, but Chris has brought this student under his wing and changed his opinion on entering a new school. This is a feat not seen often (unfortunately) in high schools.
