Kalvin is a very hard working young man.  He is involved in many different activities here at Lake of the Woods School and within his community.  I don’t know how Kalvin finds enough time in his day to accomplish all of the things that he does.  Kalvin is a 3 sport athlete (Football, Hockey, and Track) and is a leader/captain in all 3 of his sports.  He is also involved in Envirothon, S.T.U.D.S. (Students Teaching Uniform Decisions), High School Choir and Ensemble member, Sacred Heart Youth Group, High School Band, Project Lead the way student, and Robotics.  On top of all of the activities Kalvin is involved in he still maintains a very high GPA here at Lake of the Woods school while taking vigorous classes such as AP Literature, AP Governments, Physics, Psychology, and Digital Electronics.
Kalvin is also in the process of applying to get into the Naval Academy.  He is always putting others first.  Kalvin works hard for everything that he has and would be a great candidate for the Hobey Baker Character Award.
