Matt Soderstrom deserves this award for his leadership on and off the ice. He was an inspiration to have on our team.  From the moment he walked into the rink he was ready to go and lead by example. He was one of the first ones dressed every time, he helped designate pucks and water bottles at the beginning and the end of each practice and game, he never missed a practice without one of the coaches knowing where he was going to be, but most of all he was the one that said Central on 3. 1….2….3….. CENTRAl at every game.  If there was ever problem with a player on the ice, Matt was the first one in there sticking up for his teammates.  Matt earned the respect of every player on this team. He was a pleasure to coach and will be missed on this team.
