Paige fits many of the characteristics of the Hobey Baker award.  She demonstrates a positive attitude everyday in hockey and life by giving 110% in everything she does.  She has an unbelievable work ethic.  Growing up on a family farm she has been working since she was very young.  Paige thinks and breathes hockey.  She attends goalie camps and goalie practices during the season and offseason to sharpen her skills.  Paige has had to prove herself playing boy’s hockey and she has succeeded in the time and time again.  She is never satisfied with average, she wants to be the best and understands the hard work that comes with it.  Her hard work ethic also shows in academics as she is a honor roll student.  Paige is a team player because she is willing to do anything that is for the greater good of the team.  She is willing to help other goalies sharpen their skills.  Paige steps up in the time of need to help coach her teammates even when it doesn’t directly benefit her.  In the end, Paige wants what is best for everyone.  Paige is very coachable because she listens to anyone who is trying to help her be successful.  She tries her best to learn and get better everyday.  She is extremely easy to work with because she is always trying to find the best way/outcome.  Her personality is very approachable because she is outgoing, good natured, and driven.  Paige works with the Watertown Park and Recreation beginner hockey program where she mentors young hockey players.  Players on all levels look up to her and respect her because she is a girl succeeding on the boy’s varsity hockey team.  Paige’s teammates lookup to her as well.  During games she has the ability to keep her composure no matter what situation, which helps her teammates stay focused.  Paige is an active member of her church community.  She helps create artwork for the elementary school she attended.  She also participates in golf and softball.  At school she is a National Honors Society and Tuckabatchie Member.
