Since his freshman year, Jake Murphy has defined what it means to be a student-athlete.  He not only excels on the ice, but in the classroom and in the community as well.  As a senior captain of a team which has nine freshmen and seven sophomores, he has had a great impact and positive influence on his peers.  He has also been very active in our team community service endeavors.  Jake plays the game in a manner which embodies the values of Hobey Baker.  He does so by displaying an unmatched level of sportsmanship while competing with the heart and soul of a warrior.  It has been my pleasure to have coached Jake for the past four years.
