Michaela fulfills all of the requirements of the Hobey Baker Award.  As a two-time captain, she is a team leader who promotes hard work and sportsmanship.  She is continually supporting her teammates through positive reinforcement and is always trying to set an example for the younger players by being a positive role model.  Michaela leads by example both on and off the ice by maintaining first honors in school and volunteering weekly at her church teaching CCD and at the local ice rink coaching young learn to skate hockey players.  She is a valued member of the La Salle Girls’ Hockey family and will serve as a great representative of the Hobey Baker Award.
