Lilia has personified the characteristics of the Hobey Baker Memorial Award. As a consummate community member she volunteers weekly with Minnesota Special Hockey and has been involved in Urban Works which builds homes for families in need. Despite suffering a season and career ending injury in November, she has still been involved in team activities with a positive attitude. When playing, Lilia was among the most coachable players I have come across in my coaching tenure.
