Kodie Ridgley demonstrates a respect for the game and all who are involved. This extends to understanding and demonstrating unwavering sportsmanship every time he enters a locker room or steps upon the ice. Kodie is a gentlemen’s sportsman, who plays within the rules of game, but with physical prowess and intelligence. He pursues his passion of hockey without seeking attention from piers and others. Kodie repeatedly lifts our team with his presence, pride and desire to extend 100% effort at all times, and in being inclusive of all teammates in all endeavors. He further provides on ice helpful demonstration to all in need, and does so with a giving tone and manner. Kodie is a student of the game, matched only by sportsmanship and skills. His leadership is not only by on ice example, but by his presence and willingness to take charge with calm and confident approaches. He supports the coaching staff, team management, parents, and players as a throwback to a bygone era. Wearing blue and white, Kodie personifies the purity of sport and the most favorable attributes of Legend High School Ice Hockey.
