Joe Ridolfi plays for the Central Bucks East Varsity team. He has played for the Varsity team since his freshman year. During Joe’s career he has played all three forward and defense positions with equal success. His flexibility and willingness to play anywhere needed makes him an invaluable asset to the team.

 Joe’s natural position is defense. He was and still is our best defenseman. In evaluating our team we found ourselves lacking on the offensive side of the game. Joe being a naturally gifted offensive defenseman we asked him to move to forward. Without hesitation Joe took the challenge. He became one of our best forwards.

 Moving to a new position is not an easy task; to become one of the better players at that new position is outstanding. Joe’s selflessness at moving out of his comfort zone to help better the team is one of the traits that makes Joe the great young man that he is.

 Joe never gets too high or too low on himself or the team. He often makes suggestions to the coaches on ways that may improve the team. He’s even come to the coaches about moving a player that’s struggling a bit to his line so he can try to help them along. As our Captain this is one of the reasons his teammates & coaches respect him.

   Joe acts as an on ice coach. He works with players on the bench as well as inform the coaches of what is going on, on the ice. This is much appreciated by the coaching staff; it provides the coaching staff with invaluable information.

 To summarize, Joe Ridolfi is an extreme pleasure to have on the team. He is a hard working, intelligent player and young man that any coach would love to coach. He is genuine, smart, honest and hard working young man.
