This year’s Hobey Baker award recipient for Burrillville High School is Joe White. He exemplifies the true spirit of the awards intention.  Joe demonstrates a commitment to the positive ideals in which all coaches strive to have in all their players.  He has a no quit spirit with the integrity of fair play coupled with hard work and determination.  He promotes an Espirit De Corps amongst his teammates, and coaching staff by being positive and having a willingness to constantly try and compete no matter what the odds and situation.  He is actively involved in the school community and has a kinship with many members of the community outside of the hockey circles.  He truly is a kid and a hockey player that many younger youths could look up to and strive to aspire to be like.
