Owen is one of the only athletes that was asked to represent Poudre High School as an ambassador. Ambassadors help mentor young students and discuss important issues like sexual awareness, drug use and racism.
Owen is and has been on Student Council for his four years at Poudre.
Owen played a huge role this season by making sure those interested in playing hockey for Poudre signed up and were aware or the deadlines and process.
Owen has played for Poudre Hockey for all four seasons and he was unanimously voted the captain for the 2015 season.
Owen has never had an issue with his grades and has never missed a game for that matter, he maintains a 3.7 GPA and is a leader on and off the ice.
All the young kids on the team and we have many, look up to Owen, on the ice and in the classroom. Owen leads by example and help players get some projects done if it will help their eligibility whether they play hockey or another sport.

I think the award would be a great compliment to all his hard work in the classroom and on the ice!
