Tyler Henchcliffe has played center for the Notre Dame Lancer Boys’ Varsity Ice Hockey team since 2013. As the Coach of the team, I have observed Tyler grow and mature over three years.  Since I have known Tyler, he is fiercely loyal, honest, courteous, and an excellent teammate.  His teammates and I could always depend on Tyler putting forth his best effort each shift.

With a 3.61:4.00 GPA, Tyler has applied to and been accepted to Quinnipiac University, University of Scranton, St. Thomas Aquinas University, St. Joseph University, and Springfield College.  He is still waiting to hear from Clarkson University, Bryant University, and Sacred Heart University.

After all, character builds excellence, and Tyler has excelled in high school, and will continue to do so in college!
