Helen has served as a captain for 2 years on our high school team and she has demonstrated great leadership qualities in this role.  She is both a goalie and a defense-woman and has always played with a strong commitment to playing the game with a great level of sportsmanship and determination.  She has often offered her services to help mentor younger goalies and she is always willing to share her extensive hockey knowledge with younger players who are learning the game.

Helen is most deserving of the Hobey Baker High School Character Award
