Ryan has been a varsity hockey player for Grandville since his  Sophomore and a member of our Leadership Council since that first season.  In this, his senior year Ryan was named team Co-Captain.  Ryan’s is an Honors Student and has been accepted by the Naval Academy and is awaiting word also from West Point.

Besides being a role model and mentor to all his team mates Ryan carries this responsibility well beyond the locker room and playing surface, where he is a member of the National Honors Society, his Church Yourth Leadership Group and one of six members in the entire State of Michigan for the MHSAA Youth Leadership Conferance.

Personally, I cannot think of a more deserving young man for this esteemed award than Ryan Fischer.
