Joe Fetzer exemplifies the basis of the Hobey Baker award- strength of character, integrity, commitment, teamwork, and sportsmanship. On many occasions, Joe had his own cheering section in the stands. Despite not receiving much playing time, Joe never complained and did what was best for his team. Joe’s perseverance paid off when, faced with ice time in the 3rd period of the first round game of Flyers Cup and his last game for Downingtown West, Joe scored his first varsity goal to break the shutout.
