Connor is the first player on our team to congratulate our opponents win or lose.  After each practice,  he encourages his teammates with positive comments about their play. He’s good at finding the positive in all situations,  and this has been very important for our team. This fall he organized his teammates to participate in the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in honor of family members of our team who have battled this disease.  His efforts enlivened the team to encourage their whole school community to join us in next year’s walk.  Connor is a peer leader for the school’s Foreign Student Orientation Program.  He meets the foreign exchange students in the fall, and he encourages them throughout the year as they acclimate within the school and community.  Connor has also played an important role in establishing a Military Hockey Night  where our Varsity team hosts a home game honoring Veterans within the community.  Connor is  hard working and respectful of everyone he competes with.  He is a solid student-athlete who achieves in the classroom, and he is a great representative of our hockey program.
