Caitlin is a team player, which makes her the ideal winner for this award. She works hard every day and pushes her teammates to work just as hard as she does. She encourages positivity amongst all of her teammates and has involvement with our youth association. The younger girls look up to her and want to be her one day and her peers admire and respect everything she does. She demands the best from herself and her teammates. Caitlin started hockey as an 8th grader, which is very late for girls in the sport, but her determination and effort have showed that she deserves what she has achieved. She is the captain and centers the 2nd line and anchors our power play. Given her work ethic, she is also a penalty killer. We give her as much ice time as we can as she’s a difference maker every time she steps on the ice.
