Carlos is the player on our team that most exemplifies – strength of character, integrity, commitment, teamwork and sportsmanship. Carlos is a Junior at Beckman High School and an alternate captain on the Beckman Hockey team. Additionally, Carlos volunteers on the weekends for the Learn to Skate, Learn to Play and Hockey Initiation program. He also secured a job working for The Rinks (the Anaheim Ducks organization that runs the facility and the high school league). Unfortunately, Carlos sustained a broken wrist during a Thanksgiving Tournament and was forced to miss 10 weeks of the season. Despite being injured Carlos continued to attend games and practices and to support his teammates and coaches. Carlos is a huge asset to the team and deserving recipient of the Hobey Baker High School Character Award.
