Brendan’s consistent work ethic and innate leadership qualities were what made the hockey team choose him as their Asst. Captain during his Junior year and as their Captain this past year.  Both the coaches and the players felt Brendan possessed the qualities they wanted to see in their leader; a good work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to make even the youngest or weakest of the players feel like they were included.  This commitment to the ‘team’ can be seen in the stats where he led the team in assists in each of the last two seasons.  And you got to love that Mullet!
