Ben has been a huge asset to the Lake Orion High School hockey program the past three years. Ben has been a pleasure to coach and work with on a daily basis and is a great example of the type of player that we want representing our program.

Ben has been a leader from day one when he joined the program. He has always been very coachable and shows great attitude and character at the rink, classroom, and in the community. I can’t think of one instance where Ben’s attitude has been out of line in the three years he has been on the team.

Ben greatly represents Lake Orion Hockey not only on the ice but in the classroom as well. He has a cumulative GPA of 4.17 and is attending Purdue University to pursue an engineering degree. He has also been a tremendous asset to the community with his countless hours of community service.

Ben is definitely a worthy winner of this award and we are glad to have had him be a part of our program.
