As a two year Captain of the South Lakes Ice Hockey Team, Brian exhibited every quality consistent with the mission of the Hobey Baker Foundation.  He exhibited a genuine desire to learn more about the game of hockey and a willingness to help others.  He has sought out and served in positions of leadership both on and off the ice including as the 2015 Captain of the Varsity team.  Whether it is mentoring younger players, spending long hours teaching teammates, or working with the coaching staff, Brian has certainly made an extra effort on behalf of his fellow teammates.  Brian’s focus, maturity, work ethic, and dedication on and off the ice sets an example for everyone associated with South Lakes Ice Hockey.  He comes to the rink every day with a positive attitude ready to work hard at whatever is demanded of him.
