Gabe was selected as our Hobey Baker recipient this season because of his excellence in academics with a 4.5 grade point average and his overall caring and willingness to help others. Gabe is also a very well respected hockey player, both on and off the ice. Gabe always sets the standard in his effort and tenacity on the ice and is a great team player. Gabe’s academic and athletic abilities make him a standout teammate and a great selection for the Hobey Baker award.
