Mari has been in our program for six years and has been the ultimate teammate. She has had a steady progression of improvement as a goaltender in our program and is having an outstanding season. Mari brings a calming presence to a high pressure position which creates a level of confidence amongst her teammates when she is playing. Leadership also comes to mind when discussing Mari’s impact on our program as she is quick to offer a lending hand of support to our young players and is a trusting confident to all of her teammates.Mari is a great example of managing her studies with her many activities while maintaining a 3.9 GPA. She is a multi-sport athlete and her numerous community service experiences make her an outstanding representation of what being a “Pioneer” means at Hill-Murray.
