Spencer has had an incredible passion for the sport of hockey and has developed into an outstanding leader who has grown others’ passion for the game in addition to his. While he is a terrific player, his leadership and passion has been irreplaceable to this team and program. Our association owes a great debt to Spencer for the many kids he has inspired to play this great game and become future Capitals. He has truly helped to make this year’s team a family through his servant leadership, his grit, and determination to help the team succeed.
