Megan exemplifies all that the Hobey Baker Award stands for. Her Character, Integrity and Commitment is unmatched by her peers. Megan has shown her willingness to take instruction from the beginning of her High School Career, even making little quote notes and taping them to her water bottle as reminders things coaches have shared with her. Her willingness and ability to put her teammates first, are shown daily in practice and games. She is the first girl to support any teammate that may be struggling or celebrate another players success.

Megan is often recognized by opposing coaches as a great leader, hard worker and for her Sportsmanship. She plays with passion, determination all within the rules of the sport and when the game is over, recognizes her teammates and opponents for their efforts.
