Kianna Howard is involved in many activities and if you talk to anyone who has coached or worked with her, they would tell you how deserving she is of this character award. She is a great person filled with integrity, honesty, and determination. She is a captain of our team who really leads by example. One example of this is at the end of every practice she does one Herbie to give herself her own extra conditioning and a couple of the younger players have started to do the same. The work ethic is second to none. Some extra curricular activities she has been involved in during her high school career are tennis (captain for 2 years), hockey (captain), track and field, concert choir (Co-President), drama, PROUD (anti-bullying group), a student leader at her church, and a member of National Honor Society. She was able to perform at a high level in all of these different activities while also performing well in the classroom holding a 3.973 GPA. Overall Kianna is an extremely impressive individual who displays exactly what this character award is all about. She has a very bright future ahead of her and we are proud to have her representing us as a Captain of the New Prague high school hockey team.
