Garrett has been a member of the WHS boys hockey program for three years, displaying great character on and off the ice. He is coach-able by asking great questions, and gives full effort on his tasks to improve and develop. He has always been well liked by his teammates. He is able to take constructive criticism.

Garrett is a goalie and did not have a chance to play Varsity until his senior year (2019-2020). During his first two years, he was a very capable back-up, and waited for his chance and never complained. He is playing fantastic this season and is a big reason the team is having success.

Garrett has high character off the ice as well. He is among the players who volunteer their time the most coaching youth hockey. He also is a high achiever in academics, and is a positive contributor for the community.
