This year’s recipient, chosen by me and the coaching staff, is a very special student athlete. She has excelled in the classroom with a 4.184 GPA, a member of various organizations, and a 2 year letter winner, and 3 years on JV for this hockey team. Although not a big point scorer she can always be counted on to do the things asked of her to get things done. She is willing to do anything asked of her. She is an exceptional and caring person of the highest character. Those are some of the reasons this year recipient of the Hobey Baker award is Payton Schiltz.
