Tella has been on Varsity for 3 years and thus far she has been named All-Conference Honorable Mention, was a part of 2 of our state championships and is one of our captains this year. Watching Tella grow from her sophomore year to now has been something special to witness from a coach’s point of view. From coming in as a timid forward ready to learn the ropes, she has since developed into a versatile, reliable, and hardworking player for our team. With her shiftiness around the net, Tella is someone we can rely on to come up big in an important game because she will put herself in position to get the gritty goals needed. Aside from her skills on the ice, Tella is someone who comes to the rink every day with a vibrant personality that can make you smile and laugh in all situations. No matter the day, she always greets me with an excited tone of voice and is ready to bring a sense of passion and lightheartedness to the rink. Tella is someone that I have enjoyed watching grow on and off the ice immensely in the last three years and I’m so excited to see what her future holds.
