Jorja exemplifies every aspect that this award represents. Jorja is a captain on our team and she is a great hockey player, but an even better person. She spends countless hours volunteering in the youth program and camps and in the community. She also puts countless hours into developing herself into a better hockey player both on and off the ice. I have never met someone who works as hard as she does and she makes everyone around her better. She holds players accountable, she always remains positive, and she leads by example. She also excels in school and takes pride in being a student first and athlete second. She has always been someone who strived to be the best version of herself and is a natural leader. She is passionate about hockey and she is a great role model to the younger generation in the Moose Lake Area program.
