This is my second year coaching Connor. He has every quality that a coach is looking for in a hockey player. Of course, he has plenty of skill. But what stands out to me are his intangibles. Connor is very coachable when needed. He is a natural leader both on and off the ice. And I can’t remember the last time I didn’t see him with a smile on his face. His good nature is infectious. It makes it fun for me and his teammates to show up at 10:30pm on a cold Saturday in the winter. I will miss him next year and wish him nothing but the best as he moves on to college.
