In her senior, Brooke, and her teammates experienced a coaching staff change, with an entirely staff. Brooke is a senior at Sleepy Eye High school. She was selected by her teammates as a captain to lead the 2022-2023 New Ulm Eagles. She brings a team first mentality, placing the team before her personal success. She brings a positive attitude to the rink every day. Along with work ethic that is unmatched. As a senior on a team experiencing a youth movement, Brooke continually role models the traits of bringing positive attitude and effort for her teammates to the rink every day. She understands team chemistry and has gone out of her way to be inclusive with her teammates.

My greatest example of how important the team is to Brooke, was seeing her at the rink on a Friday night the team had off, watching youth hockey games with her younger teammates.
