Bradley is a tremendously positive presence on the ice, in the locker room, and on the bench. A smile seems to be permanently affixed to his face. His optimism, joy, and energy are contagious and he constantly lifts others up. He leads by example and is quick to use humor to refocus his teammates.

He also happens to be a very skilled player and is integral to our team’s offensive production. But he also handles the less glamorous duties, such as backchecking, retrieving pucks, and keeping his shifts short. Bradley plays hard, is complementary of others, selfless, and willing to take on whatever role is most beneficial for the team. On more than one occasion he has volunteered for whatever assignment the coaches have for him.

When he is not on the ice, he is an exemplary and gifted student. He also volunteers for the Boys and Girls Clubs’ Capital City Crew Program, which provides an opportunity for inner city children to learn to play hockey.

It had been a pleasure to coach Bradley this season and I await her future accomplishments and successes.
