Lucas represents everything it means to be a Lumberjack. He showed an immediate impact on the varsity as a sophomore and has not slowed down since. He brought the intensity and demanded excellence from himself and teammates every day. He was a true leader that led by example as well as a great communicator. He was a 2 year captain and never missed a game. Through injuries, bumps, and bruises, Lucas never slowed down once and for that he is our staff’s overwhelming choice for the Hobey Baker Character Award.
