Andrew is an excellent choice, and easy selection for the coaching staff. As a Junior he led the team in scoring and was chosen as the team’s Most Valuable Player. As a senior he is being recognized for achieving Academic All-State status. Andrew is a two-year captain, serving as an alternate in his Junior year and as Captain in his Senior season. Away from the rink, Andrew is a caring and considerate person, and holds himself to a high character level. He has often been congratulated for simply doing the right thing when he isn’t aware that anyone is watching. Andrew works constantly at being a better hockey player, and is always the first to help another player to understand a drill or give them guidance as necessary. The entire coaching staff for the Central Indiana Knights are proud to have Andrew Pozzebon be the team’s selection for the Hobey Baker High School Character Award this season.
