Chris has shown resilience throughout his time as a high school hockey player, continuing to play for the sport that he loves through adversity and challenges that are not within his control. In his senior year of playing hockey, Chris became captain through exemplifying the leadership qualities that were desperately needed for the team. He has grown through his nomination as captain, becoming a vocal and dedicated individual, guiding younger players towards a path of accountability and respect. Chris provides a template for a player who excels both on and off the ice with both his academics and ice hockey. He provides a guiding path for future players looking to move into leadership roles in their own hockey careers.
