Evan is well-respected by his teammates and the school community. He is the one student-athlete at the high school who transcends his sport and his group of friends and is not afraid to be a trail-blazer. Evan is integral to the culture at the high school. He organizes The Red Army, a group of fellow classmates from all grades who attend school sporting events to support their efforts. It has changed the student culture at the sporting events. Additionally, Evan is a leader in the Unified Sports Program (special needs athletes) at our school where he has befriended several individuals and continues to support them in and out of school.

Within our team, Evan is the consummate teammate. He is supportive of every player whether a freshman or a senior and remains positive for the group even when his own playing time is not what he hoped it would be. I continue to be impressed with his attitude and his team first approach.
