Fiona Daly has been an essential component to our team both as a leader and player these past four years. In the early stages of her high school career she didn’t get much playing time but that didn’t stop her from working hard, cheering on her teammates and being an active member of the team. As she matured over the years both as an athlete and young woman, we can truly attest to the fact that she possesses all the qualities necessary to receive this award. She is a very passionate player that gives it her all, but cares about her teammates and encourages them to strive to do their best both on and off the ice. As a senior captain, she not only leads the team in practices and games, but also tutors some of our younger players in school as well. We will miss Fiona’s presence in the years to come but know that she is destined for greatness.
