Kai was nominated for this award because of the selfless actions he displays on a regular basis. He is a leader who leads by example while making a positive impact on his teammates. He is an excellent student in the classroom and committed to his development as a hockey player. Kai is the type of player who is more worried about the success of the team than any individual accolades. He makes it a priority to give 100% every time he is on the ice and this naturally pushes others to do the same. Kai’s leadership and how he treats his teammates is special and did not go unnoticed by our coaching staff or others associated with the Duluth Marshall Hilltoppers hockey program.
