Jason was chosen for the Hobey Baker Character Award because of his character, dedication and the love of hockey. His teammates, coaches, school and community could not be more proud of Jason and his accomplishments. On practice days, it is not uncommon to see Jason (a varsity starter) stick around to participate in JV practices, either as a fill in or to help a younger player. In my years of coaching Jason, I have never heard him complain. He is a wonderful teammate. Jason simply leads by example, and is a great role model for younger players in our community.
