Dear Hobey Baker Award Committee,

I am thrilled to nominate Jack for the high school character award. As a dedicated member of our school’s hockey team, Jack has demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship and leadership qualities that have left a lasting impact on his teammates and the community.
On the ice, Jack is a force to be reckoned with. He consistently demonstrates an unwavering commitment to teamwork and always puts his team’s success above his own individual achievements. Whether it’s scoring a goal or making a crucial defensive play, Jack celebrates his successes with humility and grace, and never fails to uplift his teammates along the way.
Off the ice, Jack is a true role model for his peers. He is kind, respectful, and always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He is deeply committed to making a positive impact in his community, and has volunteered countless hours to local charities and community events.
In short, Jack embodies all the qualities of an exceptional student-athlete and an outstanding member of our school community. I cannot think of a more deserving candidate for this award, and I am honored to have him as a member of our school.
