Brady Bork
2023 | Minnesota | BOYS
Luverne High School | Cardinals | BOYS
Brady is a senior for the Luverne Cardinals. He is the youngest senior in our graduating class – young enough to be a junior this year. Due to his age and relatively small size he has only played 2 years of varsity hockey as he was Bantam eligible as a sophomore. Brady suffered an injury during his junior year and first season of varsity hockey that kept him off the ice for part of the season. He showed resilience then by returning to finish the regular season and playoffs – helping his team to the Section 3A Semi-Final. As a senior Brady had a slow start to the hockey season but he showed up every day ready to work and improve areas of his game that needed focus. He is an extremely coachable player – willing to listen to others and try new things. He also does not hesitate to give his own valuable opinion and input when needed. Down the stretch Brady has been a true captain and competitor for our team. A leader in many ways for our group. Not only does Brady work to improve his own play – he works to help those around him so that our team is locked-in and ready. Brady is a well rounded student athlete – involved in many academic and athletic activities including: Hockey, Golf, Student Council, Peer Helping, Peer Tutoring, & National Honor Society. We wish Brady the best of luck in his future and congratulate him on earning the 2023 Hobey Backer – Character Award.
