In 2021 Brendan, as a Junior was one of our top six players. He played with passion, fire and carried himself as a true professional, On and Off the ice. During One of our games Brendan took a hit and came off the ice like nothing ever happened. He said to me, Coach, I cannot see. I jumped on the ice as play was going on an grabbed the ref. As we carried him off he blacked out twice. The EMT came and I was instructed to call – 911. It turned out Brendan had a lacerated spleen and was bleeding out. He never complained but was required to take several weeks off. Fully cleared to play, he returned to the team just before the season ended and picked up where he left off. Never missing a beat he went on to be our Captain this past year and was one of our top players. His attitude and academics have been outstanding I we wish him the best. Great Student Athlete!
