The West Warwick Exeter West Greenwich High School Hockey Teams 2024 Hobey Baker award winner is Senior Captain Tyler Usler.

Tyler has been with the WW/EWG Hockey team for 6 years after he volunteered his time being the water-boy for two years. Tyler climbed the ranks and was named the captain of the team his senior year. Tyler dedicated himself to the team and his teammates. When times got tough and the team becomes a bit uneasy, I knew I could count on Tyler to step up and get everyone right on track. This rare combination of intelligence, kindness, athleticism and sheer grit, has made these past four years so fun. Other league coaches have recognized his ability as well, earning him Second Team All-Division honors in his junior year. Tyler has led by example in all of the characteristics of the Hobey Baker Award
