Samantha was selected as Roseau’s winner for the Hobey Baker High School Character Award because of her outstanding qualities both on and off the ice. Not only is she a talented player, but she exemplifies the values of integrity, leadership, and compassion that the award represents. As a National Honor Society member and captain of our team, Samantha sets a high standard for academic achievement and sportsmanship. Her dedication to her studies, coupled with her commitment to being a caring, hardworking teammate, makes her an invaluable asset to our team.

Samantha also plays large roles on the Varsity Volleyball and Golf teams for Roseau, which showcases her versatility and dedication to athletic excellence. Despite her busy schedule, she always finds time to give back to her community, volunteering with organizations such as Team EPIC, her church, and multiple youth sports teams. This selflessness and willingness to help others demonstrates Samantha’s strong character and sense of responsibility beyond sports.

Samantha’s respectful nature and hardworking attitude make her a role model both on and off ice. She treats everyone with kindness and respect, fostering a positive team environment and earning the admiration of her peers and coaches alike.
