Alayna has shown tremendous leadership both on and off the ice despite having only started playing hockey three years ago. She is the player that others go to when they need advice or words of encouragement. She shows up to every practice and works like it’s the most important practice of the season while encouraging her teammates to do the same. During games, Alayna is always positive and makes it known that every player has an important role on our team. Win or lose, she leaves the ice with a smile on her face while she congratulates every player on both teams for a game well played. Alayna is the true definition of a great teammate who demonstrates leadership and sportsmanship.
