Camryn was the epitome of the prestigious Hobey Baker Award since the moment she stepped on the ice her senior season. She was the hardest worker each day at practice, always picking up teammates who needed encouragement, and always displaying a grittiness that made our team better each day. Camryn also displayed a great deal of personal growth on and off the ice since joining the high school program as an 8th grader. Many nights, Camryn drove more than an hour to get home from practice, only to make that same drive early again the next morning to be on time for her classes at school. These sacrifices, perseverance, and discipline reflect why Camryn is a deserving recipient of this honor.
