Zia Siriani is a three sport athlete who has overcome many obstacles in her life. She battled through serious illness, a cancer diagnosis and has led not only her teammates in understanding the attributes of perseverance, grit determination, but she also leads by example. She is her own hardest critic but yet one who always pick up another teammate when needed. She helped lead our soccer team to a state championship in her senior year. She is a committed and dedicated softball player and she is captain of the girls ice hockey team. She has instilled in our freshman. The values needed to be successful. Student athletes. Strong academics. Solid, competitive attitude and kindness and empathy. Zia is also recognized as an outstanding academic. Having recently won an award for a design she made in one of her classes, she was acknowledged by the state as having designed a unique building that solved many of today’s problems. I highly recommend Zia Sirianni for this Hobie Baker award
