Grace was selected by our coaching staff because of her commitment to her team and passion for the game and her position as a goaltender. She reached beyond her HS team to work with and help develop youth goalies in the program and instill the passion that she has for the game. Grace dealt with great adversity during her HS career. Following a painful sophomore season Grace had double hip surgery and after a determined 8 month rehab she returned to lead her team the following two seasons. Determination, commitment, dedication and passion define Grace McDowell.
